Belinda French, whose family hails from the Webster/Irvington, KY area, has always had a great love of music.
Many in Belinda’s family have a real love of music as well. Her Mom sings soprano, her Brother sings too and
played the snare drum in school. Her Grandma plays piano and sings alto in her little hometown church
(Walnut Grove Baptist Church). Belinda loves to hear her Grandma sing whenever she is able to make it back
home to Kentucky. Belinda grew up singing in church in both the Children’s and Youth Choir. When she was
a teenager, the Cedar Grove Baptist Church Youth Choir went on mission trips to small towns throughout
Ohio and Michigan and Florida, performing musicals for other churches and witnessing to others through music.

When Belinda entered Shepherdsville Middle School, she decided to join the band. She played the clarinet and
at one point learned to play the bass drum and participated in local parades. Her love of playing instruments
led her to learn the piano, she took a few lessons but soon realized it was easier for her to teach herself the
music, playing by ear. Belinda and her brother could sometimes be found sitting down at the piano singing
together as she played.

When Belinda entered high school, she joined the band, but soon after she started classes, one of her close
friends (Thank you, Terri!) talked her into auditioning for Freshman chorus. A few weeks into her Freshman
year, she changed from band to Chorus and that was all she wrote… Belinda had come back home to her first
true love… singing!

In her Sophomore year, she was accepted into the Bullitt Central Concert Choir. From her Sophomore through
Senior years of high school, any and everything Belinda did had to do with the Choir. In fact, pretty much
every memory of high school she relates to any one, revolves around Concert Choir. The B.C.H.S. Concert Choir
entered many competitions that allowed Belinda to travel quite a bit, from Orlando, Florida all the way to
Niagara Falls, Canada. One of Belinda’s biggest musical influences was her Choir director/teacher, Pamela Fleitz,
to whom she will be forever grateful. Miss Fleitz is one of the people that has helped to shape and mold Belinda
into the person she is today.

After graduation, there weren't as many opportunities for Belinda to sing. She finally made a decision to move
out West in August 2007 to pursue art as a career but God had other plans for her. An opportunity presented
itself that allowed her to follow her deep love of music instead. Belinda soon moved to Nashville, TN to pursue
a career in country music. Since October 2007, she has sung many places including having the privilege of
having opened up for country music artist, Justin Moore ("Small Town USA"). Belinda has also had the honor of
meeting many well known country music artist since moving to Tennessee including, Kix Brooks and Ronnie
Dunn (Brooks and Dunn), Vince Gill, Joey+Rory, Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker, Billy Dean, Wade Hayes, Ty Herndon,
Bryan White, Lee Roy Parnell, David Ball, Walker Hayes and others, as well as many great songwriters along the way.
One of her most cherished moments since moving to Nashville was having met Carl Jackson. (Singing
with him, Bradley Walker and Patty Loveless is on her 'Bucket List' of things to do one of these days!)

After moving to Nashville, Belinda was offered the opportunity to sing background vocals on a CD produced by
Jim Vest in September 2008 for Ryan Ross. She had the privilege of being able to sing the harmony on several of
the songs, such as the title track "Thank God For You And Me," as well as "Good Old Days" and "Daddy's Little
Man." The CD was released on May 21st 2009. It was a very special project to Belinda because she had a big part
in helping to not only record background vocals for it, but she also took all of the photo's used for the CD as
well as helping to design the layout of the artwork and CD label.

Currently, Belinda can be found singing background vocals for Nashville Country Music Recording Artist,
Keith Murray around Tennessee and Kentucky. Keith is currently in the studio recording a new CD of all original
music that he wrote/co-wrote and once finished, they will begin pitching it down on Music Row in Nashville.

While Belinda’s first love is singing, she has many creative interests. She can often be found drawing and
sketching, working on graphic design and has a great passion for photography as well. In her free time Belinda
enjoys going to baseball and football games, and loves watching the University of Kentucky Wildcats play basketball
and is continuously working on promoting hers and Keith's careers, and maintaining their websites. Though
more than anything, she just loves singing any and everywhere she gets the chance.

While only God knows what lies ahead, one thing is for sure, she is in this for the long haul and is leaving her
path ahead up to the Good Lord. Please keep Belinda in your thoughts and prayers as she pursues her love of
country music in Nashville.
